Comedy Central Orders a Round of Drunk History!
Let’s all raise our glasses and toast to Drunk History. A new series based on the hilarious Funny or Die web show has been been given an eight-episode order from Comedy Central!
“Will [Ferrell] and I have always believed booze brings out truth. Sometimes that truth involves hitting on airport bar janitors or eating cheese fries at 4 a.m. But in this case, we hope that truth will shine on our nation’s history,” said Adam McKay, who will executive produce the series with Ferrell, Chris Henchy, Owen Burke, creator and star Derek Waters and writer and director Jeremy Konner.
Look for the series premiere this summer. In the meantime, click the gif to watch an episode from the web show.
