Jon Stewart to Make Directorial Debut! John Oliver to Host The Daily Show!
You may remember a few years ago when Jason Jones interviewed Iranian journalist Maziar Bahari on The Daily Show, which lead Iranian authorities to accuse Bahari of being a spy and imprison him for 118 days.
Bahari subsequently wrote a book about his ordeal, and this summer Jon Stewart will direct a film called Rosewater from a script Jon adapted from the book.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, while Jon’s off making the movie, John Oliver will keep his seat warm for him serving as host of The Daily Show!
