Anonymous asked you:
question for Dan Soder: If you weren’t doing stand-up, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t doing stand up I would probably be living in Denver doing something, what that is I have no idea. More then likely I’d be working in radio, I did it before stand up and it was a lot of fun.
Anonymous asked you:
Hey Dan Soder. What’s the weirdest thing someone has ever shouted at you while you were on stage?
The weirdest thing anyone has shouted while I’ve been on stage is “Kelly Fastuca” who is on Bobby Kelly’s YKWD podcast with me. That was just a strange heckle.
Anonymous asked you:
Dan, What did you do after you taped your episode of “The Half Hour”
Got very drunk with my friends I grew up with. Very drunk.
Anonymous asked you:
For Dan Soder: What’s your favorite place to perform?
My favorite place to perform is the Comedy Cellar in New York. The room is perfect for comedy, the audiences are always great and the entire staff from top to bottom is awesome.
Anonymous asked you:
Hi Dan. How did you prepare for your half hour—did you write brand-new material, or stick with your tried and true bits?
I stuck with tried and true bits. I just wanted to get everything I’ve been working on out there so I can move on to new and different material. Also thanks for saying hi. Hello to you to you too.
Anonymous asked you:
Dan Soder: What is it like to work on Guy Code? Does the show ever inspire your stand-up?
Guy Code has helped with some ideas because when we taped Guy Code it’s me in a chair in front of a green screen talking Andy Stuckey about different topics. So sometimes if I’m making him and the crew laugh it’ll make me think I might try it on stage.
Anonymous asked you:
Dan, who is your favorite comedian from this year’s Half Hour roster?
That’s a tough one because all the people who taped Half Hour specials are friends of mine but the one I’m the most excited to see would be Lil Rel’s. The man just makes me laugh really hard.
