Last night, actor, director, writer, producer, scholar and aspiring Tolkien expert James Franco announced on Twitter and Instagram that he will be the next Comedy Central roastee!

About the news, James said, “I’ve dreamed about this Roast for as long as I can remember.”

James’s dream will become a reality next month in Los Angeles and will air Labor Day. 

And if that isn’t enough for you rabid Francophiles, Comedy Central has also acquired the exclusive digital rights to Francophrenia, James’s documentary about his experiences on General Hospital.
